If I buy a license for a site or buy an add-on, will it be yours for life? Can I make some modifications myself to the code? If I use a programmer to add some modifications, I am talking here about paid services.

You can find some information in the License notes. The code you get is “yours for life”, but you need to renew your license every year to access updates and customer support. You are free to make any modifications to the code for your own site, but not to resell our products with modifications.

Thank you. This is what I wanted to know. Allow me to repeat the question for the sake of verification only. Not until after I have purchased a license. I can make modifications to the script if I use a programmer fully. I mean here the script is the pro version.
Also, if I want some features, can they be added?

There is something important that I need to inquire about, please answer
It is expected that the old google analytics will stop at the beginning of the year, and we will only work on the new version [GA4]. Is the add-on compatible with it?
Note that the Google Adsense account cannot be linked to the new google analytics [GA4]
This is important because by the end of the year when we are at the end of it, the old statistics will stop

There was no question in that message.

If you do it yourself, you can add whatever you want! ??

It is expected that the old google analytics will stop at the beginning of the year, and we will only work on the new version [GA4].

Universal Analytics kill keep working until July 2023, so there is time. The APIs for GA4 are still in beta, and we are waiting for them to become stable before we integrate with them. Until that happens, we complain publicly. I suggest switching to something else honestly, like Matomo.

    The answers are useful
Something about if it is possible to pay for visits to each country, for example the United States, for every 1000 visits, 10 dollars. Is this available or will it be added in the coming period?

    Plugin Author Stefano

    (@ste_95)

No, it is not possible to set different payment rates depending on where the visits come from, if I understood the question right.

    (@abdulazizsobh)

Are you expected to add such a feature soon? By the way, this may solve the problem of statistics, so it will not be a problem. I just put a price for the country, regardless of which of the statistics is used

    Plugin Author Stefano

    (@ste_95)

No, we don’t plan to add such a feature.

If, for example, I used any kind of statistics to calculate profits for members and then changed the type of statistics that I relied on, would the old statistics and all the data and profits previously achieved by members remain the same, or would they be lost?

    Plugin Author Stefano

    (@ste_95)

Can you make a practical example? What do you mean with “changed the type of statistics that I relied on”? If you change settings, then yes, statistics are immediately updated to reflect settings change. However, that will not affect past payments, if you use the PRO version to keep track of payments.

I would encourage you to give the plugin a try, as it is much easier to understand how it works if you try it out, much better than reading a written explanation. Post Pay Counter is free, and the PRO version has a 30-day full refund policy ??

Is there a place in the add that allows the member to add the payment method that he wants to pay with

    Plugin Author Stefano

    (@ste_95)

It is either PayPal or simple mark as paid, see our documentation https://postpaycounter.com/how-to-mark-posts-as-paid-and-pay-with-paypal/#dealing-with-paypal-payments

    Thread Starter abdulazizsobh

    (@abdulazizsobh)

I’ve been trying the free version for a while and have a note
It is not logical that it is calculated for each type of statistic separately. For example, if you use Google Analytics to calculate the profits, and then switch to Google Adsense, then it will recalculate the profits again for Google Adsense and forget the profits and the old statistics. The problem appears when the payment rate changes, for example, if you set an amount of 1 for each visit, and after that, you change the price, the profits in people’s accounts will change to the new price
Example: I have 5 visits and their profits are 50 cents, and I have modified the payment rate. The 5 visits will be calculated at the new prices. It is better to do the visits that come after the amendment and not everything that was before it

    Plugin Author Stefano

    (@ste_95)

    That is intentional.

If you want both revenue and visits payments active… have them both at the same time! No need to disable one.

we calculate stats on the fly (and cache them until settings change) to avoid clogging your database and making settings changes easier. It is possible to “lock” old stats by marking posts or authors as paid as showcased in this tutorial.
