• Hi,

I have your plugin (Pro Version) And I’m really happy with it.

There is just one inconvenience I did found while using your plugin:

When loading a Page built with PPB which isn’t cached full page (f.e. when I’m logged in) it makes about 200-500 Background Requests and it takes about 2-5 Seconds to load the page.

When I load an Archive or a page which has not a lot of different content boxes, it takes less then 0.5 seconds, even without full page cache.

So you see, it takes considerably longer to load a page with a lot of paragraphs ans columns. This is not a huge issue as I do have a Full Page cache which serves the pages in about 200-500ms.

But: the loading times would benefit a lot, if PPB would preload the individual paragraphs / columns via php and saves the info as plain html within the post. This would reduce the load time of large posts, even if it is not cached in the full page cache. This “preloading” could be done during the event of plubishing/updating the post itself.

Any manual purge/rebuild function would not be needed as the preloaded html would be regenerated every time the post is updated.

Some Background information to rectify the load times:
I am using a dedicated Nginx server (4 Core, 6Gb RAM) with Autoptimize / Mysql-Buffer / Zend OpCode Cache / Fullpage Redis Cache / Object Redis Cache. My wordpress-installation has a database with ca. 75mb in size.

Hopefully, You’ll take my input into consideration for future updates.

    regards,
    made

    Hi @madejackson,

Thanks for getting in touch. Good news is that caching page builder html in high on our radar, And it will be ready within next few releases ??
This will reduce time taken to render PPB pages coz it will just return pre-rendered HTML from database directly ??

However, live editor will still take some more time coz live editor needs cache disabled.

Hope that helps. Lemme know if I left something out ??

    Cheers
