Input field validate

Hi,

This is great plugin I am using this for years. Currently I found a problem which is there is a field for user input. Upon submission/within the input field I want to check that value with existing list of values to validate the entered text.

Ex: I am entering the field value as 1234. There is a list of values and want to check whether this input is matches with the existing list.

Is there any way to do this please?
