I am using the events manager plugin and have problems that appears with inovato theme by minti and this plugin.

The website https://hsbd.org the bottom half of pages take too long to load – the bottom half of the page looks transparent at first and then finally loads.

When I updated to version 5.5 (i have since reverted – so you won’t see this issue on my website right now) the maps on event pages do not load. Just a gray box that says loading… Also the twitter feed (built-in to the theme) did not work only on the event pages – still worked on regular pages and posts.

we are aware of this and currently working on it; however, can I know if you are getting any javascript error in your browser error console?

yes but only on pages where i have youtube embedded.

I see, it works on your other events page? then maybe your embedded youtube causes the conflict, can I know how did you do this, using other plugins?

the youtube is built-in to the theme as widget and shortcode – not a third party plugin.

two issues –
one: the half page transparent slow page load – only happens when i have the events manager plugin active. happens on all pages.

two: maps not loading (and theme built-in twitter feed not loading) happens with em ver 5.5 – I have gone back to prev version – so maps now load.

Hiya,

1. have you tried tools like YSlow to try and detect exactly where the slow-load time is occurring?

2. We’re working on this after some other instances being reported so hang on for an update with that one…
