Innovation 2.0 Theme

I am new to working with WordPress so have a learning curve.

I love this theme and it will work well for my needs — but I only want 2 columns.

Where do I affect this change, i.e. change from the current 3 plus a side bar to 1 plus the side bar? Also where di I affect the picture, if I choose to?
