Hi, I am a big fan of your plugin – thanks for developing ??

After updating LB to 3.x I get a “This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed” error in the backend. It happens when I select a block containing an Inner Block element on which the “HIDE IF BLOCK IS NOT SELECTED” is true.

And also regarding Inner Blocks and as a follow up to my bug report “no-editor-output-of-inner-blocks” from august 5th, 2021, the content of an Inner Block element still cannot be retrieved from a Theme Template:

    echo $attributes['inner-blocks'];

Hope you can fix the two issues – thanks in advance ??

    Hey.

I think we have to rewrite the Inner Blocks rendering method completely. ACF Blocks implemented it in a user-friendly way, so we have to do the same ??

Maybe in the future plugin updates, it will be changed.

    Regards, nK.

Hi, I have just upgraded to the Pro plugin and can come up with a new finding regarding the second topic:

… the content of an Inner Block element still cannot be retrieved from a Theme Template

This works fine after installing the Pro plugin, so maybe you can use this to find out how to fix it in the free version too.

The other issue still happens after going Pro.

After updating LB to 3.x I get a “This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed” error in the backend. It happens when I select a block containing an Inner Block element on which the “HIDE IF BLOCK IS NOT SELECTED” is true.

I really hope you can fix it without rewriting the Inner Blocks rendering method completely, as it sounds like a big tast ??

    Hey.

    Thank you for supporting us!

    1. Interesting… Looks like a block preloading feature is able to preload the inner blocks and display them, but if you change the content in the Editor, it is not updating in the preview. Now it looks incomplete for Pro users… I will look at it right now ?? Thank you for finding this issue.

    2. Yes, I know about this issue. Plugins will be updated soon with the fix.

    Regards, nK.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to get the Save content of the InnerBlocks component in the editor without hacks. In the coming update, the preloading InnerBlocks in the Pro plugin will be removed, as it is not working correctly while updating the block.

In the next update, a new way of using InnerBlocks will be introduced. The old way will remain for existing blocks but will be deprecated in order to use the new one.

    Hi,
I’am encountering this issue regardless of the value of “HIDE IF BLOCK IS NOT SELECTED”.

I know you said to update WordPress before posting here but I am working on a project created by other people with quite a complex setup and updating to 5.9 breaks everything as this setup is based on the older Guthenberg so maybe this is an incompatibility issue with 5.8.

That said I had the 2.3.1 version and everything worked fine but now we need the new version with the WPLM integration.

I hope you can help me with this issue, thanks in advance
