Inline Link Scrolling to the top of the page on open

  • When opening an inline content fancybox in content below the fold, the browser (chrome and firefox) jumps to the top of the page and the fancybox remains below the fold. this causes it to appear as if the fancybox hasn’t loaded.

    If you do not use smooth scrolling, and if the theme has the option to disable the script, then you can work around it by disabling the script. But otherwise, you might be out of luck. Unless there is a way to exclude certain links from this smooth scrolling behavior, but you’ll have to ask the theme developers.
