Inline Image Posting

  • I’m new to WordPress, so please forgive such a basic question ??

    What is the easiest way to include an image inline (in the middle of the body of a post)? I’m not interested in having an image gallery, nor a link to an image that must be clicked in order for it to display. The image has to appear inside the contents of a post.

    If possible, I’d like to find a way to do this without having to use any HTML or coding in my post. To that end, I’ll consider any plugins that make it easier.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?
