    I’ve installed this plugin on my site, and have the position (it’s misspelled Postions in the plugin, btw ?? ) set to “Inline”, Display Settings set to “Show at Category Pages”, and Post type Settings at “Post” and “Page”.

    On my category pages, Standard post types, the share buttons won’t load beneath the title and post infos, instead loading after the thumbnail images, which creates a blank space as tall as the image.

    This is how those excerpts are supposed to appear (example is on a tag page without the share buttons):

    My WordPress and plugins are all up to date. My theme is Matheson. In WordPress Reading Settings, I have “For each article in a feed, show: Full Text” so that images will display with my theme settings, which in Customization Layout is set to Teaser Excerpt.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @halo-diehard,
    There is simple setting in SSB. Just select icon position -> Below the Content in the inline settings section.

    Hello, yes thank you, I forgot to say that I want the icons beneath the title, not at the end of the content. Studies show more share buttons are used when they are located at the top of posts and pages.

    The last social share button plugin I just stopped using because it hadn’t been supported in a couple years, but it worked and the buttons were under the title, so I’m hoping maybe I can just add some css or something to force it to the side of the images?

    I accomplished a fix to this by posting the following CSS into my child-theme’s CSS (which for anyone using the Matheson Theme can easily be done in Customizing view, Additional CSS)

    .format-standard div.simplesocialbuttons.simplesocialbuttons-align-left {
         clear:right
    }

    Hi @halo-diehard,

    Glad to know ??. you fixed it.
    Cheers!

    Regards,
    Team SSB
