hmmm … how long is the string you pasted? could you, for debugging purposes, try with a shorter string?

You want me to try a shorter version of the above the fold CSS? Will it cause issues if I just randomly pick a certain amount of the output from the Critical Path CSS Generator? I am happy to test it out, but I don’t want to do any damage to my site as it is for my business.

The full amount is 34024 characters (for the above the fold content) I tried a short amount and it “saved”. It appears to save up to 10,000 characters.

I have tried different amounts and the first time i used 3579 characters it appeared to help somewhat, but after trying multiple amounts it does not appear to work anymore. Is there a cache that needs to be emptied? please advise. Thank you.

No, there’s no cache here to flush.

Some questions;
* What system (shared or dedicated, OS + version) are you on?
* Do you have a php errorlog and if so, anything in there that sheds a light on what is happening? If not, can you (ask you hoster to) enable it temporarily?
* Do you have access to the output of phpinfo() (or could you create a php-file with just that function)? Can you mail me (futtta at gmail dot com) the output?

Shared Hosting Apache 2.4.10

I don’t know if i have access to a php errorlog. I’ve never dealt with that before. Any tips on finding that out? I will work towards getting you that and a phpinfo output page.
