    Hello,
I tried to change something in init.php, and then I could not enter the site again. Refreshing, going to dashboard, customizer, css etc.: I tried everything!
    I use the storefront theme.
    Does anyone know a solution?
    Thanks in advance!

get a clean copy of storefront and restore the init.php that comes with the theme.

    Hello Steven Stern,

    Thank you for the reply.
Unfortunately, I can not enter the website at all, so I can not do anything, not the dashboard, themes, plugins, or else.

Is there a reset possibility, to restore to basic functions?

    Thanks in advance,

    Do you have FTP access?

Were you editing files via appearance->editor? that is a VERY VERY bad idea. Very bad.

Yes, I have Filezilla, however I do not use it. I was editing files via appearance-> editor, I did not know that it was so risky. Is there a reset possibility via Filezilla?
    Thanks in advance again!

Use filezilla (an FTP program) to restore a clean copy of init.php.

If you edit a PHP file online and you make a mistake, you now know what happens. ??

    Thanks!
I’ll try in the coming days.
If I do not manage, I will post a query again!

    Hello Steven,

I have reached the FTP files of my site. However, I do not find init.php. I have a home-provider-practice WordPress file that is on my computer. Which file do I have to replace in order to solve the above problem? (I can not enter my site anymore after confirming init.php (I even did not change anything in init.php).
    Thanks in advance,

    Hello Steven,
    It works again!
    I found /wp-content/themes/Storefront/inc/script-init.php.
I overwrote init.php and I can reach the site again!
    Thank you for your contribution!
    Kind regards,
    Henry Staverman
