Hi, I have just set up Asgaros and everything appears to be ok after resolving a few plug in conflicts.

    I have a few questions:

    1. WP Super Cache plug in – do I need to make any adjustments to prevent my site slowing down over time, or prevent clashes with this plug in?

    2. How do I ban/restrict users?

    3. Can I post sticky/super sticky threads?

    4. Spam protection – do users have to confirm their email before posting.

    5. Hacking – do I need to take any further steps to make sure my site is not exposed to hacking attempts?

    Thanks,
    Dan.

    1. Disable caching for the forum page
    2. You cant ban users now. Maybe I will add this in a future version.
    3. After you have created a topic you can make them sticky.
    4. It depends on your WordPress configuration. Maybe there is a setting for this in WordPress core or you can find a WordPress plugin for this.
    5. If I know any security bugs, I will fix them.

Hi, thanks for the quick response.

In regards to point 2, how can I go about controlling disruptive posters/people who are posting spam?

    Dan.

You can delete their WordPress account so they cant write anymore. I dont know …

I will provide a solution for it in a future release.

FYI: Banning has been added to the dev-version of the plugin and will be available with the upcoming v1.1 release.

You can find a relatively stable dev-version here:
