    Greetings!

I am using Wordfence Security Ver7.4.2 and WordPress Ver5.3.2

Recently while I wrote my photo upload programme(not WP plugin nor Theme), I kept
being buzzed by the error messages. The php programme works well, but i just felt trouble in lots of error message generated. LOL… The error is as follow

PHP Warning: ini_set() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/[mydomain]/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/vendor/wordfence/wf-waf/src/lib/rules.php on line 813

My question are: What is the best way to solve this problem? Should I enable ini_set()? Should I change any setting in rules.php? Or is it possible to stop the error message regarding the ini_set() only?

    Thanks your help!
    Happy New Year! :”)

    Hi Honcy,

The ini_set PHP function is used multiple times by WordPress as well as Wordfence. It may also be used by your theme and any other active plugins you use.

We recommend that you remove ini_set from the disable_functions PHP directive.
