Inherited Multisite with no Super Admins

    I have inherited two multisites running 3.4.1 but none our current employees are super admins for the network. We’re only admins for the default site. How can an admin be turned into a super admin?

    1) Log in as Super Admin

    2) Go to Network Admin -> Users

    3) Edit user

    4) Click box for ‘Super Admin’ (*aka Grant this user super admin privileges for the Network.)

    5) Save

    6) Beer

    If you haven’t got any Super Admin privileges, you’ll have to get into the database and change it there. Not something that is recommended, especially if you’re like me and easily forget punctuation or how to count characters in a username.

    Mika, thanks for the steps, but my issue was what WP Valet ferreted out of my original post. I went into wp_sitemeta and edited the site_admins meta serialized data to replace the Super Admins that are long gone with my current staff folk.
