• Hello! I’m wondering if WCPT would be able to just inherit the button styling from my global elementor settings? All of the buttons on my website use the global styling, so my best case would be, that the ‘add to cart’ button (using AJAX) in my Product Table Lite plugin inherits the same style, without the need of further styling inside the plugins settings.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi!

Thank you for using WooCommerce Product Table Lite ??

The ‘Button’ element in the product table can be fully styled with comprehensive design options provided in the settings of the element. But I understand you want the element to automatically inherit your current button styling. While the product table plugin’s own Button element cannot inherit design in such a way it does provide you the option to replace the product table’s button with the default woocommerce button element. In some cases using this option also provides added measure of compatibility with 3rd party plugins that are designed to influence the woocommerce button element.

To put the product table plugin’s Button element in ‘compatibility’ mode select the very first option in its settings labeled “Use default WooCommerce button from product page”. Once you have enabled this option the button will switch over to the woocommerce version. This solution works well most of the time but results may vary depending on how the theme is providing styling for the woocommerce button, and how it interacts with the product table plugin’s own stylesheet.

Another option is to give the table’s Button element and HTML class and add styling for it in your child theme stylesheet so you don’t have to re-apply it while creating new tables/buttons.

I hope this solution helps with your requirement and please feel free to write in if you have further questions on this or anything else related to the plugin.

Btw – in case you are concerned about re-styling the button element over and over again while creating multiple product tables I would like to make another suggestion. The plugin comes with a large set of shortcode attributes/options to help you modify the query for the table directly from the shortcode itself. So you can create a single ‘template’ product table, then print out varied sets of products on your site simply by modifying the shortcode each time you type it out on your site pages. For more information I will recommend checking out the plugin documentation on shortcode options.
