I am helping someone with a WooCommerce site that caries various food items. We set out to include the ingredients for each item as an attribute but have run into problems.

Essentially instead of importing, for example:

ingredient 1, ingredient 2 ingredients 3, etc. (in that exact order).

It imports each ingredient as a separate attribute (in the “ingredients” attribute group) and then displays them on the product page in alphabetical order.

Obviously, and especially with ingredients (considering the ordering is important with the first ingredient in an ingredient is the main ingredient) does not work for us.

It was recommended that we sidestep the whole problem by importing the ingredients as apart of the product description. However, I am afraid that this will impact the actual search results.

Is there any way to address this issue and have the ingredients imported without being separated as individual attributes? For example:

“ingredient 1, ingredient 2 ingredients 3, etc. (in that exact order).”

Thanks in advance for any help with this.
