Hi

I am installing the Info Way theme here and in the middle of the page the letter D keeps appearing for no reason…

I have tried resetting the theme options, read the code files and I’m stumped as to where this letter is coming from.

any help is appreciated.

It’s a bug in v1.1.4 ( the one you are running on)

In this case, go to that file and edit it out ( remove that D ).

It’s just a small mistake, nothing serious, not to the point of changing theme.

Also, consider update the theme to the lastest too, regardless of this issue.

Thank you @paulwpxp for resolving this and therefore helping out the many users of the InfoWay theme who will likely experience this issue. For this you have been titled life saver.

I’m assuming loads of people are going to look at this thread, so it’s important to keep this in-mind for those people. If the solution in this thread did not work for you then you need to create your own thread and discuss it there. This thread’s solution will be easier to follow if this thread is left as-is.

Hi there,
Thanks so much for the little tip on how to remove the (D) that was driving me nuts! I am trying to delete or plugin the bottom right corner of FRONT PAGE and all I see is a PNG (like a place holder) useless and want to get rid of. Please advise.

We have pushed the update to resolve this issue. The update is approved and should be live in few days.

Meanwhile if you are looking for fix urgently, you can directly download the theme zip from trac link below and update your theme via FTP by going to wp-content/themes and replacing your theme directory with the directory in the zip.
