    Hi support,

I have two cookies from a service called Simplero but although I have filled out function and experiration, it doesn’t show in the cookie policy. How can I fix this?
Also one of the Simplero cookies isn’t being blocked by Complianz – can you tell me how to do this? I haven′t found the right guide, probably.

    TIA,
    Ythhj

    Hello @ythhj ,

    Thank you for reaching out.

That’s unfortunate to hear. To block a specific service not recognized by Complianz you can use the “Block a script, iframe or plugin” feature inside Integrations > Script Center.
Here’s the guide, check the step 3: https://complianz.io/integrating-plugins/
Try blocking these URLs:https://assets0.simplero.com/simplero.js” and “https://majaallen.simplero.com/page/250198.js

    Looking forward to hearing you.

Thanks for you answer. One Simplero cookie is being blocked but unfortunately the cookie “simplero-landing-page-250198-shown” still isn’t being blocked …
I am also wondering why function and experation isn’t being shown in the cookie policy although I filled these in when I added the Simplero cookies.
Hope you can help – TIA!

    Hello @ythhj ,

I’m glad we are making progress. After checking the site’s console, I noticed that the Simplero service is showing the following message: “simpleroCookieConsent is undefined, setting cookie anyway.” You can see it in this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/teU-ggjE5CWA.

It seems that the Simplero plugin is setting a cookie, likely because we are blocking its original consent update. I suggest trying to block this specific URL: https://assets0.simplero.com/simplero.js?410e54d2a689687f59519f4e9496f037.” If that doesn’t work, you might want to reach out to them, as this behavior seems to be related to their plugin’s logic.

Thank you for getting back to me – unfortunately the problem remains unresolved. I’ll try to ask Simplero again. But can you help me with the problem of why function and experation isn’t being shown in the cookie policy although I filled these in when I added the Simplero cookies?

    TIA,
    ythhj

    Hello @ythhj ,

Sorry for the delay in responding.

What did Simplero say about this issue? Also, could you please send me a screenshot of how you’ve modified the Simplero cookies? Based on your cookie policy, it seems that they are still under investigation (https://prnt.sc/aQHJF7RNl0P__). It also appears that these cookies are not yet listed in cookiedatabase.org.

I’ll provide a general explanation on how to create a cookie and sync it with cookiedatabase.org . The tutorial below includes screenshots of a specific service, which are for guide purposes only. Please apply your desired service in the fields.
    Please follow these steps:

    1. Go to the?Wizard menu > Consent section > cookiedatabase.org?and click on “Add Service.
    2. Fill in the labels as follows(example) with the preferred service:
    3. Once you have filled in the fields, click on “Save.” A placeholder “Add Cookie to FunnelForms” will appear. Click on it and fill in the following fields (example):
      • Name:?yourservicenamecookie
      • Purpose:?Your choice
    4. Click on “Save” and ensure to?check both forms:
      • “Data is shared with this service”
      • “Show cookie on Cookie Policy”
    5. Finally, click on “Sync service with cookiedatabase.org” on both.

    I hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply. I followed your guide above on another website using Complianz (free version) and the problem remains: Although I fill out duration and purpose when adding the cookie, this information does not show in the cookie policy. Site is https://viavita.dk/ and cookie is Pixel Cat
