Infinite Scrolling – Jetpack

    I’m trying to make infinite scrolling from the jetpack plugin to work with luminiscence lite. I edited functions.php in my child theme as instructed in the official help (here) but I can’t make it do it right. New posts are shown every time I reach the bottom of the page, but unfortunately they do it above and after the footer, messing the design.
    Anyone has achive this before? Or anybody has any knowleage about the right code to use?

  • lol… never did like that infinite scroll, but I’ve never tried the theme with it. I know it can be finicky to get it to work flawlessly. I’m wondering though if the theme’s “equal height’ columns (sidebar to match the height of the content and vice versa) is causing a layout issue with this JetPack feature. Because this is a third party plugin, I really don’t provide support for that but what I can do is play with this on my local test site and see what happens with it. It could be just a simple code adjustment to the JetPack snippet or it could be something that this theme does not support.

    Have you tried adding the code JetPack instructions gives, but put it into the functions.php file of the parent theme?
