Infinite Scroll on my Theme

  • I am developing a theme that resembles Pinterest and my goal is to offer the option of Infinite Scroll (either automatic or via a button) but would like to do this internally (without the need for plugins like JetPack or others).

    I couldn’t find subjects that natively do this without the need of a plugin, and leaving the code php + jquery perform all independent.

    Does anyone have any examples to base? I’ve searched a lot but all date references to Jetpack for installation and use
