Infinite scroll on custom post loop

So I’ve made a blank page with a custom template to show a loop of a specific category at the desired URL and I’m trying to get it to have an infinite scroll feature. I’ve attempted turning on the Jetpack thing with no luck but maybe that’s because I’ve set up my own loop(?)
