Infinite Scroll not working with twenty ten child themes

    i am currently working with the latest version of both wordpress and infinite scroll. i am creating single page folio site theme from the twenty ten child theme with using infinite scroll for my top navigation. but its not working any suggestions or help

    Below are the settings for infinite scroll with twenty ten child

    content selector #content
    navigation selector div.navigation
    next selector div.navigation a:first
    item selector .post
