Infinite Scroll more posts at once?

    Is there a way around the 7 post max. for infinite scroll? I have it set to 24 now in my Reading > Settings and use infinite scroll with ‘Scroll infinitely’ unchecked.
    Would rather have it on, with 12 or 18 posts.
