I am using Astra Pro theme for my blog post I have enabled infinite scroll – so at the bottom of one post it scroll to the previous post. Interesting its double the on page time since implementing ??

Within the single post area there are some issues with display of Tablepress tables.

If you view the table from the post the table is contained see:
    https://www.bajanthings.com/barbados-almanacs-sugar-works-1848-1871/

Then the table is contained within the content area – works as expected.

If you view the table having entered the post before say:
    https://www.bajanthings.com/the-barbados-trailways-project/
then scroll down via infinite view to the table above you will see it is no longer within the container borders.

I can send you some screen shots it that helps. I mentioned the issue to the Astra support team. They say “The infinite scroll content is added via ajax, so it’s probably related to why the table is not responsive unless you go directly to the post URL which has the table inside. I suggest you get in touch with the plugin author and let them know how the infinite scroll works.”

    Many thanks

    PB

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Indeed, this is caused by the AJAX-loading of the new post. Unfortunately, TablePress can then not apply the JavaScript features, due to how this works.
You could maybe try using the scroll mode of the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/responsive-tables/ as an alternative, as that does not use JavaScript.

    Regards,
    Tobias
