Infinite scroll does not work anymore in wp 5.5

    Hi,

    Since WP 5.5 infinite scroll does not work anymore. If I deactivate
    footnotes it works again.

    PHP version 7.4.

    Wordpress version: 5.5
    Other plug-ins:
    Jetpack
    Yoast SEO
    WP-Optimize – Clean, Compress, Cache
    TinyMCE Advanced
    Slimstat Analytics
    Really Simple SSL
    PuSHPress

    Hello martoiu,

    when footnotes is active and the problem occurs, do you have error on the browser console?

    Hi @martoiu,

    I suspect an issue with jQuery that has been solved by upgrading the libraries in versions 2.0.0 through 2.0.4 (current).

    Sorry for this coming so late. Has this debugged infinite scroll? I didn’t have the chance yet to set up an infinite scroll sandbox to try it out with footnotes enabled.

    It works now in WordPress 5.5.3 and Footnotes 2.0.4.
