infinite-scroll broken

    Hi,
    since my wordpress 4.8-> 4.9-update the infinte scroll does not work anymore.
    I have an own render-function defined in function.php, but I didn’t change anything there in ages and it used to work until recently. Any ideas?

    Let’s first make sure that the infinite scroll setting in Jetpack is correct. Could you please go to https://tracyspress.net/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack#/writing and make sure that “Load more posts as the reader scrolls down” is selected?

    If it’s still not working after that, it could be due to the theme. Can you also try switching to the Twenty Seventeen theme via Appearance → Themes? Let’s see if that fixes it.

    Hi Tracy, Yes, the scroll setting is correct. THX. Sorry, but changing the theme would also disable my custom function.php so this would not help me.

    Would it be possible to backup the custom functions.php file and give this a try so that we can rule out the theme as the problem?

    If you haven’t updated the theme in some time, it’s possible that one of the most recent updates is conflicting and causing incompatibilities with infinite scroll.
