• Cannot seem to stop the refresh of the protected pages if “Force https Exclusively” is checked. Also, if Force Admin is checked, then all of the non-https pages refresh continually.

Is there something I have set up improperly? Do I need anything in wp-config etc to get these to work properly? I have this happening on 2 different sites with the latest version ( and since version 3.0.2)

    Any help is really appreciated

Could someone please take at look at the table below and see if they can tell what is going on with my setup. I have this behavior on 2 different sites, am running 3.5.2 wp and 3.3.6 of WordPress HTTPS:
In a nutshell, I either get an unsecured admin, or the unsecured pages continually reload.

Here is the behavior I see:

If ___ Force SSL on ADMIN & ___ Force Exclusively

Both secured pages and unsecured pages work, but my admin is not protected(not ok)

If _Y_ Force SSL on ADMIN & ___ Force Exclusively

Secured pages work and admin protected.

But it automatically changes unsecured pages to “https” for ALL items and works, BUT, if I try to manually override with “http” url on a non-secured page, it DOESN’T work & Continually reloads the page.(not ok)

If ___ Force SSL on ADMIN & _Y_ Force Exclusively

    – Secured pages work, but admin is not protected(not ok).

    – Unsecured pages work, and I cannot manually override unsecured url with “https”(ok).

If _Y_ Force SSL on ADMIN & _Y_ Force Exclusively

    – Secured pages work and admin is protected.

    – Unsecured pages DO NOT work, Continually reloads unsecured pages.(not ok) & Cannot manually override to “https” (ok)

    Any help is really appreciated.
