Added an ical feed from the website Arbiter feed to a third party WordPress plugin Timely “All-In-One Event Calendar”. The initial import was fine but after a couple of hours the events begin to replicate and don’t stop. I have no idea what could be causing this as I have been using this plugin for a couple of years and have never seen anything like this. Not really sure who’s at fault. The developer of the plugin or Arbiter, but I really need some resolution. The issue can be seen at –

    Calendar

This a result of the feed being added to the calendar a couple of weeks ago.

Yes it does look similar, upon initially importing the calendar there were approximately 650+, now there are 7800+ events in 2 weeks time.

    Hello guys,

Please check if this option is activated: Dashboard > Events > Import Feeds > My Feeds tab > your Google feed > “On refresh, preserve previously imported events that are missing from the feed.”

If so, click the Edit button and uncheck the option. Refresh the feed.

Also, please advise where the feed was imported from. There is a known problem with Google Calendar events:

Reccuring events on Google Calendar corrupts their ics file and causes this problem with duplicate events. The fix is to not use reccuring events on Google.
