Infinit loading while editing a page

  • Hi guys,

    since some days one of my websites is having a real problem, I cant edit pages, an error happen : a circle appear like it’s loading but it’s not running..

    I checked the console if you can help me..

    We didnt change anything before that error happen, exept maybe a text in an article but nothing related with the code..

  • Hello neomaking,

    For a start, can you deactivate all plugin and switch to unmodified default wordpress theme like twentyfourteen to make sure it is not a plugin/theme conflict.

    Hello,

    I already did what you suggest to do, and I think that’s a theme problem, i’m actually doing a backup from 18 november but i’m affraid to think that it can happen again.

    Working with Calvin here, I’m glad you were able to narrow it down to a theme conflict. Could I ask if you had the same issue with all the plugins deactivated and then using just your theme?

    And have you maybe tried contacting the theme developer to see if it’s been addressed?

    Hey dear, thanks to help me!

    It seems to be a theme conflict because i tryed to start the theme without pluging and just my theme, i’m going to contact the dev..
    Actually we did a backup of our website and it still working but i’m a bit affraid that it could happen again!
