• For simple page layouts (a blog post, a page with a picture, subheads, and copy), Gutenberg is needlessly complicated compared to both the visual and text modes of the classic editor.

    For complicated page layouts (multiple columns, blocks, etc.) I find it more difficult to use than just writing everything in HTML in the text editor and making some custom styles, and ALSO less friendly and capable than existing block based editors like Visual Composer.

    Maybe this will evolve with time, but for now it really is the worst of all worlds.
