Ineffective Honey Pot

We are receiving a high number of spam signups.

I see that the honeypot field is hidden. Can this be the reason?

As far as I know, a field set to “display: none”, as this is, is easy for spammers to avoid. It should be removed from view in a different way, e.g. absolutely positioned outside of the viewport.
