individual wrapping option

Is there a method by which you can set the system up so that if a client orders 2 of the same products they don’t have to have both items gift wrapped?
I am finding it difficult too try and figure out how to set the system so that only single items are wrapped.

Also it would be a great idea if this could be attached to the shopping cart as an add on at checkout.
