Indian Currency Problem

  • I added Ecwid shopping widget with my wordpress medical circle website template but this template is not showing new indian currency symbol. It is showing russian local currency symbol instead of indian currency.
    kindly help

    I believe it is something related the plugin you are using. Please check on the options.

    Hi there,

    It seems like the issue is caused by the “PT sans” font which is used in the site theme. It has an invalid symbol for the Indian Rupee. More details: https://github.com/google/fonts/issues/2406

    Does the theme allow you to change font from the WP admin? If not, I’d recommend switching to another font via css.

    I Will follow the steps that has been posted.
    Its a strange issue. When I am making changes through live mode, it shows rupee currency fine but when i am not logged in to wordpress and checking the website in browser, same curreny issue arises.
