• I just finished dealing with transferring a friends website both the hosting and the domain. The domain transfer was a first for me, but I made it through.

I had the new hosting company transfer the CPANEL accounts straight over. Prior to all of this I installed InfiniteWP so that I could create a backup of his site, which I did.

So I had the hosting company transfer the CPANEL (db + files and all) over. I got the domain names switched over. But whenever I view the site I’m getting an Under Construction image only!

When I contacted the new hosting service they said the PHP file was not working. They even created an index.html to show that that works… but not the index.php?! I’m confused as to what I need to do to correct this?

I’ve reviewed the permissions, no problem. I’ve restored from backup, no problem. Still getting the equivalent of 404?

    Any ideas?!

I have InfiniteWP and it connects via a plugin on his site and runs from a dashboard on mine. I can remote connect and even login to his site and get to the wp-admin with no issues. From there I can direct link to posts. But if I go to the https://www.sitename.com I get the under construction error!

I don’t know where to check from here! HELP!

If I capitalize the Index.php in my address bar I get an “Oops! That page can’t be found” instead of the “Under Construction” page… in case that helps any…
