Index.php loads in Chrome/Firefox but not IE?

  • We just updated to the latest 4.4.1 yesterday and the main /root of the website no longer loads?

    We disabled all plug ins, changed the theme to 2015 and refreshed the files with no luck. this is an intranet site running on IIs with mod_rewrite enabled. Had no problems before upgrade.

    The main https://website no longer loads with IE 9,10 or 11? Gives 404 error.

    Chrome and FFox are handling it fine.

    This is not a public facing intranet, so I can’t provide a link.
