• I love that someone built a plugin that works to integrate Algolia and the indexing side of this plugin works fantastic. However, there is no documentation nor opportunity to customize your results. As well, it’s not pulling in the featuredImage as it should – perhaps the JSON has changed from the Algolia API. I’m trying to work through predictions.js right now to try to find and correct the code, but it’s difficult. And I’m concerned that if the plugin gets updated, I’ll lose any customization that I was able to do. Please update the plugin where the author can customize the CSS and template layout as an option.

Hi Douglas, we will upload some improvements to the plugin in a few minutes, in this version you could enable featured images and set its size plus other improvements we did.
Also we will update the documentation in these days.
Would be great to have some comments about these changes.

    Thanks

Hi Douglas, we just updated the docs a bit more https://github.com/sitemavens/maven-algolia/blob/master/README.md

Let us know if you have any issue/comments.

    Thanks!

Thanks! I had to do some additional customization directly in the script and css – the spans were just too ugly to work with. It’s working well, though. I also modified it to return some of the content description rather than the excerpt which is an optional field. You can see it on the Marketing Technology Blog.
