Indexing The Posts

    I have installed the plugin in https://robbreport.com.au/. As per your features by installing the plugin, each newly published post are being pinged frequently to Google and Google news. Though each post in website takes time to get indexed in Google. Can u please suggest do I need to make any other settings or need to take any extra care so I can make sure my posts are indexed in short period of time. I have to fetch manually in google search console each time to index the post. Please let me know.

  • Hi @mayuradcreators, Google has its own internal reasoning about when and how frequently it will revisit a web site. Resubmitting the sitemap manually is indeed said to “wake up” the spider, but even then you cannot force it do reindex your site immediately.

    As your site grows and pings come in frequently, announcing actual fresh new (and valuable) content, then Google’s interest in your site will grow accordingly. SEO specialists will probably tell you that quality backlinks will help too ??

    In the advanced version there is a ping log for the news sitemap. It can tell you if pings are received or not. This usually is not a problem unless your server is blocking outgoing requests somehow, but you’d have issues with WordPress updates and stuff like that too…

    so I guess, it’s more a question of patience :/
