• Is there a way to index fields that are associated with Yoast SEO WooCommerce plug-in?

When editing a product, these fields can be seen under the “Product data” section within the “Yoast SEO” tab and include GTIN, MPN (Manufacturer Part Number), ISBM, etc. It is important for users to be able to search on these fields.

By default, Relevanssi is not indexing these fields.

I am unsure how to specify the fields within the Relevanssi settings Custom Fields settings. Can you suggest the syntax for specifying their field names here? This would resolve the issue.

I have been told that these fields are stored as “serialised” data within the database. Not sure if this information is helpful.

    Thank you for your assistance.

Since Yoast SEO WooCommerce is a premium product, I need more information to be able to help you out here. What I need is the names of the custom fields and an example of their contents. You can get that from the wp_postmeta database table on your site, the fields appear there. If that’s not possible, Yoast SEO support should be able to help you out here.

A quick test is to set Relevanssi custom field indexing to “All”, then go save a post with this data and see if the post can be found with the GTIN.
