index.html/ .htaccess

  • I need some help with my website.

    If you go to the following, you will receive an error!

    https://www.EngineeringHacks.com>>Submit A Link>>[click any random database]

    “Not Found
    Nothing here, sorry!”….will pop up!

    BUT, if you erase the “index.html” it will work..why does this automatically come up?How can I find a way to have the “index.html” portion at the end of the address not show?!I believe it’s a .htaccess problem. FYI, it started AFTER the 3.5 update!And yes I have already fixed my site using the Master list suggestion. Thank god for that much..I will never update wordpress for as long as I value my business.
