    Hi,

I’m using Nginx with the mod_rewrite option of Supercache to service static files to my visitors and it’s been working great (using the default nginx rewrite rules from the WordPress homepage for Supercache).

After the last WordPress Supercache update I noticed php-fpm being called a lot and finally realized that the static index.html and index.gz were being removed from my default cache folder whenever I log into WordPress.

I have recreated this with the following steps:

Visit https://mydomain.com and have Supercache build a static file in cache folder with index.html and index.gz so Nginx will serve your homepage without having to call php-fpm

Login to WordPress and if you visit your cache folder, the index.html and .gz file are gone.
