Good morning. I have been searching for information about this issue and I have not been able to find anything, so I hope it can be solved here.

My website has 25 pages so far, with some other 10 pages coming soon (no posts yet). I use Yoast SEO and Google Search Console, but there are some problems that I don’t know how to solve them.

    1) While the page loads quite fast (~1s), the sitemap loads in more than 10s.

    2) Google Search Console tells me that all pages are “Indexed, not submitted in sitemap”, but the sitemap section says “Sitemap index processed successfully”; with Status “success” and 25 “Discovered URLs”.

    3) Robots.txt doesn’t block any of these 25 pages and points to the URL of the sitemap.

    4) I run a “site:dmcgranada.com” on google, and only 21 (out of 25) pages are shown.

    Any clues?
    Thanks

We are sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with our plugin and it’s must be frustrating for you. Let’s see what’s going on here.

    Sitemap loading time
We looked at the sitemap index on your site and can confirm that it’s loading as usual and not taking around 10 seconds. We can confirm the sitemap index is taking a ~1 second time on our end.

    Indexed, not submitted in sitemap
Google search console is telling that particular URL was indexed already through other methods and not discovered the submitted sitemap. Google crawler discovers URLs many other methods and it’s not an error as the relevant URL has already been indexed as expected.

    Sitemap index processed successfully
The sitemap status you are seeing in Google Search Console means the sitemap was submitted successfully and Google crawler can index them as expected.

Google search results show only 21 out of 25 pages
Google doesn’t index all the pages at once from a website. It only indexes and shows the most valuable pages in the search results. So, if there are other valuable pages on your website, those might be indexed as well in the future but won’t appear immediately. We can unable to confirm when Google will index them and show them in the search results as this is something that no has control of except Google itself.

We hope that clarifies everything you have mentioned above.

Thank you very much for your super-quick answer!

It will be a matter of time, then, as opposed to my thoughts.

    Regards,
