index user info incl user_meta

    What’s the setup process I can use to index basic user info along with the usermeta information (the site uses Ultimate Member and I’d like to index SOME of the usermeta fields that creates for the users).

    Just list the names of the fields you want to index in the relevant setting: Settings > Relevanssi Premium > Indexing > Index User Profiles > Extra fields. Any user meta fields listed in that setting will be indexed.

    I see – but is that only available in the Premium version?

    Yes, because the free version cannot index user profiles at all. Free version can only index the author name for the posts, that’s as much as you can do with users in the free version.

    (You can set up indexing filters so that author usermeta data is indexed for posts by that author, but it’s generally less helpful.)
