On my product categories in WooCommerce, I am using a custom WYSIWYG field for a second box of content.

When I run Yoast analysis it’s only seeing the 42 words in the default category description.

How can I get the Yoast analysis tool to also index my custom field with 300+ words?

    Thanks

    Hello @one3rdnerd,

Thanks for reaching out about your product categories. I understand you have added a custom field to your product categories that has not been detected by the Yoast SEO plugin.

Yoast SEO analyzes the default WordPress content areas like the title, URL, the main content box (WordPress editor). The Yoast SEO plugin won’t detect it since you are adding content with a custom field provided by PODS. However, the Yoast SEO Premium has a workaround for that.

Although our plugin does not detect your content and shows an incorrect analysis report, this does not affect how search engines crawl and analyze your site. Search engines process the front end of your site and will detect your content.
