index.php files in Uploads folder.

  • As I read everywhere that Uploads folder have writable permissions. So, It shouldn’t contains any PHP files, although there is no need of php files in uploads folder. If so, security concern may happen.

    I also agree above statement. While ithemes-security folder in uploads contains 3 php files. Backlogs and Logs folder contains index.php file while root folder () also contains index.php file. File nothing contains more than 2 lines.

    I knows uses of this, but it shouldn’t present in uploads folder. What you says.

    I doubts, If I remove these files than what will happend.
