Index Page Displaying Instead of Blog

  • Someone please help!

    I have basically no programming knowledge or anything, but basically I uploaded a video to my FTP site, and now when you go to the frontpage of the blog it shows an FTP-like index page. I don’t think I changed anything in my wp files, so I don’t understand why this is happening.

    I’m having a mini panic attack, so if anyone could help that would be awesome.

  • Without more info/linkage the only thing I could suggest is to ftp in and try to undo whatever you broke.

    Did you overwrite or delete your index file when you uploaded the video? If you type a website address into your browser, then it tries to find an index.*** file to display, and if it cant find one then it displays a list of all the files in the folder…

    Check that your index file is there and if not, upload it again.
