    Am having trouble with my new website’s URL.

    Its reading Index of/ and then displaying the directory folder(s)

    Kindly let me know how I can resolve this.

    I will highly appreciate.

  • If the list is all of your WordPress files, then your host either doesn’t support PHP, or doesn’t have ‘index.php’ set as an index page and this is an issue that only your hosting company can fix.

    If it is showing the directory that you installed WordPress in, you can click on that directory to view the WP installation. That means that you have not installed it in your main domain correctly, and you’d be best off deleting what you’ve done, and re-doing it.

    Checking…

    Host confirmed to support php

    I installed it in htcdoc folder which means —-> mysite.com
    —-> htcdocs
    —-> WP directory folder
    The Index.php
    Ooh yeah! Thank you! thank you!
    I have just installed index.php inside htcdocs and on refreshing my site Voila!

    Thank you Michael.
