Looks like you are publishing/updating too many posts.

I suggest you temporarily disable Index Now so the rate limit can reset.

No, I am not publishing or updating too many posts. I am aware of the indexing quota. Even after updating a single post in a day, I am seeing that error.

I tried deactivating the plugin, but same error.

I will advice you keep the plugin deactivate for say 24 hours so your rate limit will reset at their end.

I followed as you advised and kept the plugin deactivated for a day but I am still getting the same error.

Please share a screenshot of the error message from the log page let me see.
