index maintenance jobs locked

    Since some days I get following message above the comment field
    ||wppa_cleanup_index||Geplande taak||0||reload

    As I thought I could fix the issue by rebuilding the index, I went to Table VIII A 8.2 and 8.3 but there I have “locked” instead of “start” so I cannot start the job.
    When I click on “locked” it says the job is being run by cron.

    Most importantly, how can I get rid of the wppa_cleanup_index indication above the comments as this is not something that should be dislayed there?
    Secondly, how can I rebuild the index manually?

    Addendum: the text about the wppa_cleanup_index only appears after a comment has been posted.

    So far I managed to get VIII A 8.3 – clean index back to normal.
    I don’t know if it is linked with the actions I took, but I did the following
    – VIII A 2 – backup settings
    – after this I could see the start button again after 8.3 and I clicked on it
    – status changed to working and after half a minute changed to “error on server”
    – then I re-initialized the plugin (VIII A 1) after which I had again the start button after 8.3
    – I clicked on the start button and after a couple of seconds the status changed to ready
    – VIII A 8.2 is still locked however

    after posting a new comment I still have the wppa_cleanup_index message and 8.3 is back to locked.

    I will remove the message. It is a left over diagnostic, indicating that everything works as expected. You really do not need to run remake index, everything is automated now. It is just a cosmetic flaw.
