    After update in meta it does not have index/follow? Or am I missing a setting?
    <meta name=”robots” content=”max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1″/>

    I know yoast has it like this..
    <meta name=”robots” content=”index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1″ />

    @stevenb1966,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    You are correct, we do not output index/follow meta as they are unnecessary. By default, all search engine crawlers will index or follow a page unless the noindex or nofollow attributes are present.

    So what you posted above will work exactly the same way in both scenarios.

    ok thanks you

    I have the same problem. Where can you choose “noindex” after the update?

    @seofonia,

    Each post has the option to manually set to noindex. Just visit the Advanced tab on the AIOSEO meta box and uncheck the “Use Default Settings” for the Robots Meta Settings area. Then you can manually choose noindex or any other option.

    You can also do it globally for each post type under Search Appearance > Content Types in the main settings. You can find more information about this here: https://aioseo.com/docs/showing-or-hiding-your-content-in-search-results/
