• Hello,

I have an issue I am trying to trouble shoot. I have a site that has a WP blog addon. The blog is in it’s own directory.

The blog uses the correct index.php in the theme files for the main page that lists all the blog posts. However, when creating a new post, it is pulling the home index.php that has nothing to do with WordPress at all and is not located in the WordPress directory nor the theme files. It is located in the root of the site.

The post that was created does not show up when you view the post. The homepage of the site shows up. I have never seen this happen and do not know what to look for to fix this. Any help would be appreciated.

I have checked settings and the correct url to WordPress is there. I have save permalinks. Nothing has worked.

    Thanks
